After Success with Icon\u202fof\u202fthe\u202fSeas and Star\u202fof\u202fthe\u202fSeas, KUB Awarded Projects for Icon\u202f3 and Icon\u202f4<\/strong><\/p>\n

Following our successful delivery of interiors for Icon\u202fof\u202fthe\u202fSeas<\/strong> and its sister vessel Star\u202fof\u202fthe\u202fSeas<\/strong>, KUB is honored to announce that we have been selected for two additional Icon-class projects: the upcoming third<\/strong> ship, now officially named Legend of the Seas<\/strong>, and the fourth<\/strong> vessel in the series (name not yet announced)<\/span><\/p>\n

The Largest Cruise Ships Ever<\/strong><\/p>\n

Both Icon of the Seas<\/em> (in service since early 2024) and Star of the Seas<\/em> (set to launch in mid-2025) have redefined the standard for cruise vacations with Royal Caribbean. As the largest cruise ships ever built, the Icon-class vessels set new global records for size, capacity, and onboard innovation. With a gross tonnage of approximately 250,800 GT, a length of 365 meters, and capacity for up to 7,600 guests, these ships push the boundaries of what\u2019s possible at sea. Icon of the Seas<\/em>, currently the world\u2019s largest cruise ship, is not only an engineering marvel but also a floating destination\u2014featuring uniquely designed neighborhood-style public areas that seamlessly combine entertainment, dining, and immersive experiences.<\/p>\n

Our Role in Icon\u202f3 and Icon\u202f4<\/strong><\/p>\n

KUB will once again contribute to the design, fabrication, and installation of the public areas aboard both the Legend of the Seas<\/strong> (Icon\u202f3) and the upcoming unnamed Icon\u202f4<\/strong>. Our responsibilities include creating bespoke interior elements\u2014custom furniture, themed zones, finishes, and detailing\u2014that align with the distinctive identities of those ships and elevate the guest experience.<\/p>\n
