Interior design M2

As part of the M2 residential house project, we designed not only the architecture but also the interior, creating a harmonious and well-considered whole in which architecture and interior blend seamlessly.

The foundation of the interior is a light gray color palette, serving as a neutral backdrop that highlights contrasting yet harmonious materials. This combination creates a refined balance between cool and warm finishes. One of the central architectural features is the concrete floating staircase with a slender metal railing, further enriched with metal shelving.

The living area is defined by a large modular sofa, positioned to encourage communication and open up views across the entire space. A built-in fireplace, extending vertically from the ground floor to the gallery, forms the backbone of the interior while also defining an intimate reading nook. Discreet yet distinctive black trim lines subtly guide the user through the space and emphasize the architectural logic of the house. The kitchen is designed in a soft gray tone, while the upper cabinets with a metal frame and dark frosted glass add character. Integrated LED lighting creates an elegant atmosphere, where the silhouettes of tableware become a design feature.

In the bedroom, the main element is a large nightstand designed as an extension of the windowsill; together with ambient LED lighting, it creates a sense of spatial continuity through the window. In the open wardrobe area, a large mirror is placed as a sliding front. Its mobility provides flexibility, while its reflection of light further brightens the space and enhances the sense of openness. The attic houses two mirrored children’s rooms, a children’s bathroom, and a shared reading corner under a skylight. The rooms differ only in their color choice, with layouts that grow along with the child. A perforated sliding wardrobe front allows for personalization of the space, offering a place to hang drawings, photos, or additional elements.
