The project includes two different typologies that offer various living options. It consists of two pairs of two-dwelling building with small gardens, and a residental building with assisted living apartments. The entire project creates a new street frontage and connects into a cohesive whole through the selection of uniform materials.
Each two-dwelling building unit features a canopy, a covered entrance, and its own garden. The assisted living apartments are designed flexibly, allowing for accommodation not only for the elderly but also for families of 3 or 4 members.
The façade systems consist of white rough plaster complemented by elegant gray joints and large-format panels in amber red-brown hues. These visual highlights on the façades create a warm and modern appearance while enhancing the durability of the façades. On the two-dwelling buildings, the colored panels indicate the functional separation of the building into living and sleeping areas. On residental building, the panels are used to emphasize the balconies and eaves, marking the division between the exterior and interior spaces. As the panels are used for balcony railings, they provide privacy for residents and reduce overheating.
