During the apartment renovation, we focused on designing custom interior spaces by demolishing walls and creating a new floor plan solution, which allowed for a complete transformation of the functionality of the rooms and provided an optimal floor plan and smooth movement for the users throughout the apartment.
The goal of the project was to create a better quality of life in the apartment and provide flexible and comfortable spaces for the residents. The biggest achievement that we successfully integrated into the new floor plan solution was the merging of the living room, kitchen, and dining room into one space. In addition, we also created a separate area for the parents, which includes a bedroom, their own walk-in closet, and a balcony.
The children's room also underwent a renovation, which provided a new spatial solution with numerous storage surfaces, a large desk, and a play corner with a whiteboard. We wanted to bring a fresh touch of playfulness to the children's room, so we designed a unique system of shelves above the bed and added colors to the room.
By redesigning the bathroom, we visually increased the space and increased the amount of natural light that can penetrate through. Instead of a standing bathtub, we installed a shower, which provided an additional gain of space. For even better results in increasing the space, we used a large mirror.
In addition to the bathroom, we also gained a new office with a large desk and an open shelving system that provides a large surface for storing material.
