The two new office buildings, which will comprise two storeys, ground and first floor, have been designed to meet the needs of K&K Agro-trade’s expansion. In order to better optimise the company’s operations, the two buildings have been divided according to their functional programmes: office and retail.
The office building is L-shaped, while the retail building forms a rectangular broken design that adapts to the shape of the land. The ground floor of the office building will house a small production facility, the company's showrooms (a patisserie and a bakery), technical rooms for employees and a storage area, while the first floor, which comprises only the eastern part of the building, will be used for office space.
The ground floor of the commercial building will house a shop, a store and a bar. The bar will also comprise a floor in the southern part of the building, to ensure as much natural light and openness as possible in the bar.
We have designed a modern industrial style façade that allows the two buildings to complement each other but form a cohesive whole. The façade incorporates grey sheet metal panels with a combination of aluminium and reinforced concrete as a load-bearing structure.
